Rules and Exceptions

There have been some questions about the Rules and Exceptions functionality we offer. Here is it’s purpose and how it works: It, basically, allows an administrator to set rules. This allows the user to review asset data as it is imported, updated in the Web interface, or modified on the handhelds. This helps an administrator maintain the integrity of the asset data. This feature is available in stand-alone mode. The pass-through customers have their rules set in their enterprise asset management system.
