CG4’s Asset Tracking System (ATS) will significantly enhance or enable any corporate asset tracking initiative. Not only does it extremely simplify the Asset Tracking process, but it helps you take control of your assets.

CG4’s ATS empowers individuals to move, add, and change assets as well as edit an asset’s location, type, and other details (including storing a picture of the item) with ease. Data collection tasks can be done on mobile devices allowing them to be completed on-site where the assets reside, enabling users to update information when it is being moved or while performing an asset audit. Transcription errors are eliminated, and the amount of time required to maintain your assets is significantly reduced. As changes are made to the asset’s information, they will go back to the asset database on the next synchronization.

CG4•Central
Regardless of the type of assets you are managing (desktops, laptops, furniture, etc.) the net result is your asset database stays current and up to date. This is important because if you are not tracking you assets appropriately, they are out of control.

CG4’s Asset Tracking System software is made up of two modules CG4•Central and CG4•Mobile.

is a web-based management console. It can be used to receive the initial import of your company’s assets, as well as to make any moves, adds, changes, or retirements to your asset information. It is the master location of all your asset data, and comes with a comprehensive set of reports to assist you in your asset management processes.

CG4•Mobile
is the software that resides on the handheld. It enables the asset management team to complete audits, physical inventory counts, and manage moves, adds, and changes using convenient, powerful, and easy-to-use mobile devices. Then, all the data updates made in CG4•Mobile are synchronized back to CG4•Central. CG4•Mobile also works with RFID tags, barcode scanners and pick lists.
